Instructions for General Donations & Sponsorships

We are currently having a problem with the website that is affecting the ability to use PayPal. Until it is fixed, please use one of the methods below if possible. PayPal and Venmo: These payment processors charge 3% of the donation as a processing fee, bringing your total donation to $907. Our Venmo address is: @educate_bwindi

Zelle: If your bank offers Zelle, and you choose to use it, there is no charge to you or to us. Send payment to: educatebwindi@gmail.com

International Wire: Please ask your bank to send the full amount in dollars, after they do the exchange. If the foreign bank does not do the exchange first so they send dollars, the U.S. bank must do the exchange, something that always involves a loss at our end. Sponsorships

Sponsorships are a type of donation. They are the financial backbone of sustainable income for the school. You are contributing not only to a specific child’s welfare, but also helping us pay for teachers, food and school supplies, making it possible for students to board at school, to purchase textbooks and on and on.

Sponsors make an implicit commitment that if at all possible, the sponsor will remain with the child, supporting him or her throughout his or her education. For some that may be only primary school; for others the path may eventually lead to higher education. You will change a child’s life. Please see “THE CHILDREN” to read about just a few of the children needing a sponsor.
