Welcome to Educate Bwindi
Our mission is to help the children from the Bwindi community, Uganda to build better futures for themselves and their families through education.
Educate Bwindi is a US 501(c)(3), all volunteer, nonprofit. Educate Bwindi provides financial support for the Bwindi Watoto School, Uganda. The school is owned by Educate Bwindi Uganda.

Educating the Poorest of the Poor
We find sponsors for the most vulnerable children in the community and support their education as far as possible.
Class Size
We restrict classes to no more than 21 children. Most other primary schools in Uganda have 40 to 70 students in a single classroom.
Teacher Training
We are training our teachers to understand and integrate critical thinking into the classroom.
A Healthy Campus
We have a full-time nurse. Our campus undergoes daily cleaning. The students’ diet includes fruits, eggs and milk – foods almost unheard of in rural schools.
